Chore / Housekeeping / Respite Care
These services are available to persons needing companionship and help with activities of daily living, such as housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, personal care, shopping and errands.

Community Care Program
These services are available to persons needing companionship and help with activities of daily living, such as housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, personal care, shopping and errands. Income guidelines do apply. Funding for this program through the Illinois Department on Aging.

Circuit Breaker Applications
This program offers assistance with the Pharmaceutical Program for persons 65 years and above. Those eligible can renew their license plates, at a discounted price, if they qualify.

Congregate Meals
These are available at four meal sites in the County five days a week, allowing Senior's the opportunity to eat a hot meal and enjoy companionship with their peers. Meal sites are located in Gladstone, Oquawka, Stronghurst, and Lomax.

Home Delivered Meals
Are available to homebound Seniors five days a week. They are delivered by a staff person to their home.

Information & Assistance
This service provides answers to a wide variety of questions by seniors over the phone.

Transportation
The Health Department has a handicapped accessible van and three other vehicles available for transportation for persons sixty years and above for doctors appointments and shopping. There is a suggested donation for these services.
